A summit of an unusual ensemble
Three internationally award-winning musicians, united by their passion for chamber music: with great dedication they explore the shimmering sound world of flute, viola and harp – transparent, richly coloured and full of unexpected facets.
Alena Walentin (Flute)
Soloist, chamber musician and arranger, awarded 26 international prizes. Alongside guest appearances with leading orchestras and critically acclaimed CD recordings, she is a dedicated pedagogue and has held teaching positions at five European conservatoires.
Marion Ravot (Harp)
One of the most sought-after harpists of her generation. As a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, she has performed worldwide and collaborated with artists such as Gauthier Capuçon, Ton Koopman and Daniel Hope. Since 2024, she has been principal harpist of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and teaches at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Yi-Te Yang (Viola)
The German-Taiwanese violist is a member of the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and regularly appears as guest principal viola with leading German orchestras. As a soloist and passionate chamber musician, she combines the highest artistic excellence with curiosity, joy of playing and a strong sense of musical communication.

Program
"Impressionism and Echoes"
The programme traces the development of musical Impressionism, a sound world shaped by transparency and refined colour.
Works by Ravel, Ibert, Jolivet, Bonis and Bax reflect the diverse aftereffects of this musical language. The concert concludes with Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp, a defining work of Impressionism.
