("Bon anniversaire!") program
C.Debussy: Piano trio in G major
Debussy's early work with influences from Schumann, Fauré and Tchaikovsky is a musicological sensation - this trio was only discovered in 1982 in the estate of a Debussy student and published for the first time in 1986.
L.Boulanger: D'un matin de printemps
The musical image of a dawn - tragically composed on the far too early evening of her life at the age of just 24.

G.Fauré: Trio d minor op.120
After its premiere in 1922, Fauré's only piano trio became “the” classic of the trio repertoire in France alongside Ravel. The slow movement in particular is one of the most beautiful that Fauré ever wrote.
J.Francaix: Piano trio D major
Entirely in the French tradition of “faire plaisir” - the art of entertaining without pandering - Jean Françaix's tasteful, light-footed classicism finds its most beautiful expression in the piano trio from 1986.
